If a power metal band decided to make a doom metal album, it would sound something like this. It lacks the gayness of power metal, though, so don't worry.

Genre: Cascadian Black Metal Country: United States
Another spawn of the growing Cascadian black metal scene, Leech stand alongside Ash Borer and Fell Voices as one of the best acts to play the sound. Ten Black Hymns is by far Leech's best effort, the pinnacle of their handful of impressive releases.
Icelandic gentleman Olafur Arnalds is a brilliant composer. His piano-driven pieces are a definition of atmosphere, providing a dark but rewarding neoclassical soundscape that is all-encompassing. If you even think you'd like this, I highly recommend taking a listen.
